Guidelines for Participants enrolling in Futurly Online Courses

1. During the course, the participant creates a design/project with the help of the tutors/tutorial sessions, interactive engagement with team members. The Participant agrees that the content produced during the workshop has shared intellectual rights between the participant, other team members who collaborated on the said project, and Futurly.

2. Futurly instructors ' provided workshop materials, definitions, codes, scripts, and tutorials are the Intellectual property of the instructor and are subject to copyright protection, and may not be replicated commercially without written consent from the organization Futurly unless said items are of generic nature. This applies to exact copies of the above-mentioned items and the instructor's designs. The participants are encouraged to adapt, remix, transform, and create new work upon the provided material and acquired knowledge.

3. The participant adheres to the above-mentioned and agrees to not record, redistribute, or republish any of the sessions in any manner. Downloading, recording, redistributing, reselling, trading, pirating, or allowing non-participants to access the course materials will be treated as and pursued legally as Intellectual Property Theft / Piracy and Copyright Infringement which can amount to fines equivalent to $100,000 and up to 3 years in prison.

4. Shared intellectual rights mentioned in point 2 include referral and credit to all team members of the project and Futurly in any further publications. Mention of the workshop name as the framework within which the project was created is highly encouraged and appreciated.

General Terms

Revisions to the Terms

We reserve the right to revise the Terms at our sole discretion at any time. Any revisions to the Terms will be effective immediately upon posting by us. For any material changes to the Terms, we will take reasonable steps to notify you of such changes, via a banner on the website, email notification, another method, or combination of methods. In all cases, your continued use of the Services after publication of such changes, with or without notification, constitutes binding acceptance of the revised Terms.

Severability; Waiver

If it turns out that a particular provision of these Terms is not enforceable, this will not affect any other terms. If you do not comply with these Terms, and we do not take immediate action, this does not indicate that we relinquish any rights that we may have (such as taking action in the future).

Website Return/Refund Policy

Futurly Online Course(s): Courses, Live Workshops, Events & Recorded Sessions

Since the Website offers non-tangible, irrevocable goods we do not provide refunds after the product is purchased, which you acknowledge prior to purchasing any product on the Website. Please make sure that you've carefully read the service description before making a purchase.

While there are strictly no refunds, under special circumstances, the course/workshop/event registration ticket shall be transferrable to another individual, before the launch of the event. 

In the case of cancellation of a course/event, you will be immediately notified and the entire amount you had paid will be refunded. We are only responsible for refunding the amount you have paid towards joining the course. Any purchases made towards the preparation for the course such as software licenses, technical hardware, tools, etc are not under the responsibility of Futurly. No refunds will be offered if you missed attending the live sessions or viewing the courses within the course registration period. 

Copyright and Trademark Policy

Futurly respects the intellectual property rights of our Content Providers, instructors, users, and other third parties and expects our users to do the same when using the Services. We reserve the right to suspend, disable, or terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe or are repeatedly charged with infringing the copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights of others.
