Workshop Description

What You’ll Design?

This challenge invites you to explore AI-powered tools that enhance & not replace the architect’s creative agency with xFigura.ai, a collaborative platform built for AI-native design workflows. With over 28 integrated AI models for text, image, video, and 3D generation, xFigura empowers architects to design faster, iterate smarter, and tell compelling spatial stories.

Work across image, video, and 3D formats to construct a spatial narrative that expresses your unique architectural voice on the future of cities.

You’ll create a visual journey from AI-generated ideation to cinematic video and volumetric form, all compiled on an interactive xFigura board.

Here’s what you’ll specifically design:

  • A cohesive visual story using images, animation, and 3D AI
  • Three final concept images of the future of cities using Flux Kontext Max
  • A 10–30 sec animated clip using Kling, Seedance, & Runway ML
  • An AI-generated 3D form using Tripo, Rodin, & Hunyua
  • A short written narrative describing your vision
  • A compiled board on xFigura showing your full process
All participants will automatically be eligible for the xFigura Design Challenge competition, with exciting prizes announced and awarded the following week.

George Guida is a leading figure at the intersection of architecture and artificial intelligence — an architect, researcher, and entrepreneur shaping the future of design technology. He is also the Co-Founder of ArchiTAG LLP, a forward-thinking design studio that exhibited at the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, and is recognized for its expertise in AI consultancy, participatory workflows, and performance-driven architecture.

George has previously taught at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Northeastern University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology, and has delivered lectures and workshops at institutions including RISD, CEPT, Tongji, and more. Will I receive a Certificate for completing the course?

Yes, you'll receive a certificate of completion for the registered workshop, provided you submit your work by the challenge deadline: September 6th.

How long do I have access to the recordings?

This course includes lifetime access to all content for as long as the Futurly platform exists. Instructor support is only available for a limited time after purchase. For details, see our Lifetime Access Policy.

Are there any requirements to sign up for the workshop?
Do I need to purchase xFigura credits?

All you need is a computer with a browser. Just sign up on xFigura using the same email you used for Futurly, and we’ll credit your account with $10 worth of xFigura credits before the workshop begins - that should be more than enough to fully participate.

I can't register from the country that I'm in, what can I do?

Please drop us a mail about this at hello@futurly.com and give us a clear explanation of your situation, we'll do our best to make something work for you.

How does the after-hours support work?

You can use the Futurly Dashboard to comment on the video and get your doubts clarified by the instructor. You may also post images to explain your doubts further. 

Will there be any refunds?

There won't be refunds. However, in special circumstances, the registration shall be transferable to another individual, before the launch of the Workshop/series.

What modes of payment are available?
