Rhino is software used widely across the industry. It’s highly popular because it can handle complex 3d modeling and high-precision 2D drawings. It also has powerful instruments that can help to present your work. If you’ve mastered Rhino, you won’t need to export your project to another software package to create great graphics. In this course, you will learn how to create a variety of diagrams, plans, and sections using Rhino only. Knowledge of advanced display settings, 2D tools, printing modes, and layouts will save you time, making you more efficient.

Meet Your Instructor

Khaled Omara 

UN Studio, The Netherlands

Khaled Omara is an Egyptian architect. After graduating, he sought his ambitions to work in the field of education, to convey his knowledge and enthusiasm towards architecture. He joined the teaching staff of national and international universities in Egypt, including the American University in Cairo, as a teaching assistant for various design courses.
Khaled now is a current candidate of the Masters of Science in Architecture at Ain Shams University, after completing his 5-year intensive B.Arch. at the same institution.  His passion towards both practical practice, besides his academic one, impelled him to work in architecture  offices to gain a greater exposure into professional practice. He joined the well-established international design  firm in Egypt, Dar Al Handasa, where he learned much about the dynamics of how mega projects are  executed through different phases. His passion was at the early stages of design. So, he took advantage of the  internship opportunity with UNStudio in Amsterdam. There, he gained further exposure into the  practical early design phases, from developing concept sketches and diagrams to presenting final drawings  and renders, honing his skills in graphical representation. Always exploring the best visual approaches to  communicate both beautifully and efficiently.

How can I know more about the upcoming content?

How often are the classes updated?

Each course is added by 2 hours of video sessions per month. We have 4 courses running within Futurly+ at the moment.

Will there be more courses under Futurly+ in the future?

Yes, the more members we have, the more courses we will add into the platform. The topics will be voted on by Futurly+ members.

Any prerequirements to sign up for the course?

Nope, all included courses start from the very foundations of each tool. You need a computer with the required software installed and the curiosity to learn, that’s it.

Will I receive a certificate for completing the course?

While certificates are not available on Futurly+ yet, we are building a system where you will get a Certificate of Completion for the Futurly+ courses completed by submission of the final assignment within the course.

How does the after-hours support work?

You can use the Futurly Dashboard to comment on the video and get your doubts clarified by the instructor. Our platform supports text and JPEG images. So, you can post screenshots of your problem and even get answers with markups.

What modes of payment are available?

We currently accept payments through all major Credit & Debit Cards. You will receive an official acknowledgement from futurly immediately upon registration.
