Omar Kaddourah

Architect, Zaha Hadid Architects, UK / UAE

Omar is an architect, computational designer and blogger who recently joined Zaha Hadid Architects in London. He took part in the design team of the Unicorn Island master plan in China. With four years of professional experience in architectural & computational design. Specialist in parametric design and form-finding techniques using the latest technological software. After completing his Bachelor›s degree, Omar started his career as a computational designer in NORR Architects, where he took part in multiple international competitions of residential & mixed-use projects.

In 2017, Omar moved to London to pursue his master›s studies in the Architectural Association School of Architecture, where he studied in Patrik Schumacher Studio in Design Research Lab (DRL) focusing on cutting edge software & computational design methods.

After his post-graduate studies, Omar joined TKDP as a Designer where he worked on a master plan, residential & mix-used projects taking the lead in delivering the design packages and the solid coordination with the consultants and client.

During his free time, Omar is continuously researching on computational methods related to mesh topology, optimization and digital fabrication expressing the research in his blog ManyBits.

How can I know more about the upcoming content?

How often are the classes updated?

Each course is added by 2 hours of video sessions per month. We have 3 courses running within Futurly+ at the moment.

Will there be more courses under Futurly+ in the future?

Yes, the more members we have, the more courses we will add into the platform. The topics will be voted on by Futurly+ members.

Any prerequirements to sign up for the course?

Nope, all included courses start from the very foundations of each tool. You need a computer with the required software installed and the curiosity to learn, that’s it.

Will I receive a certificate for completing the course?

While certificates are not available on Futurly+ yet, we are building a system where you will get a Certificate of Completion for the Futurly+ courses completed by submission of the final assignment within the course.

How does the after-hours support work?

You can use the Futurly Dashboard to comment on the video and get your doubts clarified by the instructor. Our platform supports text and JPEG images. So, you can post screenshots of your problem and even get answers with markups.

What modes of payment are available?

We currently accept payments through all major Credit & Debit Cards. You will receive an official acknowledgement from futurly immediately upon registration.
