In this course, we will dive into the world of volumes and create a system that can help us modify any geometry that has a certain density. We will work with different VEX, for-each-loop and even VOP methods to build the system. In this particular course, we will not create simulations ( this was the theme covered in Houdini 1.0 Course ). Instead, we will create a fully procedural modeling workflow. By the end of the course, you will have a system that will allow you to create numerous variations of a given model in a very short time.
What will you learn:
Chapter A: We focus on creating the basic geometry and modification system for the volume. By using VEX and some mathematical functions, we will create a system that will allow us to modify the given geometry/form.
Chapter B: In this part, we will create the bone structure of the model. We can call it the bone structure as it is rough and voluminous shape of the system. It should be the component that holds the entire mass together.
Chapter C: In this chapter, we start adding details to the model. We can call this part the "muscle generation" because we're going to create geometry that populates our bone structure. Additionally, we will also create architectural and structural elements such as railings, and most importantly, the slabs.
Chapter D: Finally, we will compose all the elements together. We'll create the essential UVs, normals, and groups and make your project ready to be exported to any other software.

What Our Participants Say
It was an awesome course, I learnt a lot about VEX scripting and a nice introduction to procedural modelling. Thanks, Mumin! .
